Avoiding Malicious QR Codes

With the ubiquity of QR Code Readers now being built into all smartphone cameras, the popularity of QR Codes in marketing has exploded as it has become a quick easy way to exchange or obtain info, visit a website, watch a video, and more. While there are many advantages to QR Codes they could also be used to do harm as the destination the QR Code sends you to could be malicious the same way any link in your email, text, or online could be. In this video, we will cover how this can be done and how to identify a potentially malicious QR code.
